Adventures with the cable guy :)
Jim and I decided a long time ago that we would be fine without cable. We decided that we had friends and other things to keep us entertained. (You got that joke right Jim?) After a couple of years without any form of television we decided that we would enjoy it now. We called and bundled our phone and internet with cable, to make things easier. Little did we know that even though we cut down the giant pine tree that was two feet from our house, we still do not have a clear shot to the satellite that the company needs. We were very disappointed. The boss of the man that came out the day before was supposed to come and check it out again, and give us an idea of what they could do. At about 7:00 pm the next evening I was very upset that we had not heard from the boss all day. I called a man who put the satellite dish up at our neighbors’ house and he said he would be at our house in a minute. Jim and I heard a truck pull up to the house and I asked, "Is that the cable guy?” (Please understand the excitement we both had, we had waited all day for someone to come and finally someone was here.) He replied in a somewhat awkward tone " No, it's the poop n' scoop man." This cable guy had another job but since he was not working this evening he was in his other vehicle! Surprisingly, he said he could put up the satellite dish Friday morning! Even though we were pretty confused when we saw who arrived at the end of the driveway, we were very excited after our conversation! Thank God for the poop n' scoop man!

This is going to be interesting seeing as I do not normally keep up with things like this, but since it is online I might be more prone to do so. I am excited about blogging about things that I would normally not remember later. But, in this case I will have it available to me whenever I want to look back! How neat! Hopefully this will be as interesting to you as it is to me!
